A Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) for facial rejuvenation, also known as a vampire facial, is an advanced skincare treatment method that harnesses your body’s own natural power to heal itself. It is often called a vampire facial because it involves drawing your blood. Your blood is made up of four primary components: red blood cells, white blood cells & growth factors such as the plasma.

When the platelets in the plasma are concentrated, magic happens. To achieve concentrated levels of platelets in plasma, all four components of your blood are separated by density. Then, the platelets are injected into the plasma, excluding the red and white blood cells.

    Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP)
PRP is used to describe any application to benefit the body. In the context of anti-aging, growth factors are either injected into your skin at specific depths according to your aesthetic needs or the “blood” is spread on top of your face during treatment. Eventually, the plasma is absorbed by your skin. This cuts the recovery time down to nothing while speeding along the collagen production process.

PRP is for you if you:

    • Suffer from acne scars
    • Are afflicted by hyperpigmentation
    • Want to reduce fine lines and wrinkles
    • Want tighter, firmer skin
    • Have uneven skin tone
    • Are not ready for a facelift
    • Have dry skin
    • Feel your skin looks older than it should

The Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is a delicate procedure. Here at FAB Clinic, you’ll have the luxury of having your treatment delivered by expert senior aesthetics staff with an amazing aftercare provided by us to put you at complete ease.

    Frequently Asked Questions
    • How Safe is the PRP treatment?

Platelet-Rich Plasma or the PRP is a very safe procedure because it is Autologous which means it is extracted from your own blood. Therefore, there are no risks of rejection or allergic reaction. The only real risk of PRP is contamination.

At FAB Clinic, we use an enclose extraction system that eliminates open-air transfer containers, minimizing any contamination.
    – How soon will Platelet-Rich Plasma or the PRP results will be visible?
Results vary by the individual but on average 80% of results are visible in 2 -3 weeks.

Full results will take 6 -8 weeks on average with the exception for a Platelet-Rich Plasma or the PRP Treatment which will take 4-6 months.
    – How Long Results will last?
PRP Results will last on average of one year. After that they will slowly decrease, that is why we recommend at least one treatment per year and for best performance even 2 to 4 treatments per year.
