Focus Dual – where two great technologies merge

Suitable for both face and body, the Focus Dual technology is an AWARD-WINNING technology has combined two existing and tested treatments for lifting, tightening, and firming the face and the body. High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HiFU) and Radio Frequency (RF) Micro-Needling are clinically tested and approved to stimulate collagen production, sculpt, and reshape the deepest layer of the skin.

HIFU – High Intensity Frequency Ultrasound

Ultrasound technology is utilised by the Focus Dual to reach the structural layers of our skin. This is done through heat while protecting the integrity of the surface of the skin. The HiFU technology incorporated within the Focus Dual reaches the superficial musculoaponeurotic system or the SMAS layer of the skin that is otherwise only accessed through actual surgery while Focus Dual does this non-surgically.

The concentrated heat on this deep level stimulates body’s own ability to produce new collagen and dormant collagen in a 12-week window of time. Results will be a younger-looking, elastic and plumped up skin. The lifting experienced by the Focus Dual HiFU treatment is so effective that it is usually advertised as a non-surgical facelift.

    Radiofrequency Micro-needling

Focus Dual is a new treatment for achieving skin tightening, lifting, firming, and contouring. Focus Dual uses a combination of radiofrequency and micro-needling technology to create a controlled trauma which triggers the body’s healing response of collagen and elastin production.

Focus Dual as a cutting-edge technology promises a firmer, tighter and an overall improved facial and body skin contouring through the application of radio frequency (RF) and micro-needling technologies. The two are applied by super-fine needles (needles only a bit thicker than human hair) to create a controlled trauma on the skin. Doing this helps create a healing response and stimulate the production of collagen and elastin.

The combines technologies are clinically proved to achieve far better results for a firmer, tighter, smoother, more lifted and a more hydrated skin.

The unique combination and application of the two technologies (HiFU and RF Micro-Needling) offer the most effective results non-surgically to reverse the signs of aging. The lifting element of HiFU helps lift the sagging skin on our faces and body alleviating skin laxity issues because of loss of collagen while the tightening element of the RF Micro-Needling addresses and reduces the appearance of fine lines, creases, and even open pores.

Focus Dual is a non-invasive treatment that enhances & improves skin elasticity along with many other benefits such sagging skin, excess body fat (although this is a secondary benefit), fine lines and wrinkles, open pores, and skin laxity issues.

    Frequently Asked Questions

What does the Focus Dual technology offer?

The Focus Dual technology is manufactured by UK’s largest laser manufacturers, Lynton. The Focus Dual is a combination of two ground-breaking technologies: High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HiFU) and Radio Frequency (RF) Micro-Needling.

How can a HIFU procedure help?

The HiFU treatment has been around for a relatively a long time now. What a Focus Dual HiFU treatment does is that it focuses on the SMAS layer of the skin. One that a plastic surgeon operates on to surgically tighten or lift. Utilising the ultrasound technology, a HiFU by the Focus Dual achieves impressively significant results for skin tightening, lifting, and plumping both on the face and the neck & it does this non-surgically.

How will I feel during the treatment?

Most patients describe this as a mild and slight heating sensation while having a Focus Dual treatment (either the HiFU or the RF micro-needling). Pain levels across the board, even among patients with relatively lower pain thresholds have been reported to be tolerable and comfortable.

How many sessions will I need?

Upon a thorough consultation, your clinician will analyse your skin (face or body) with your desired goal. Although you can have treatments done for HiFU and RF micro-needling desperately or as one-off treatments, best results are usually achieved through a combination of both in a course of treatment.

How long before I see results visibly?

The Focus Dual technology works by stimulating the production of collagen by the body itself. This is what helps maintain the volumized, more plumped, and tighter-looking skin we aim to have. Although sometimes results can be seen immediately specially with the RF needling optimum results have been reported to be seen up to 12 weeks post treatment as your body’s collagen production cycle is complete.

What’s the downtime of a HIFU or RF micro-needling treatment?

Short answer is only a no downtime to a couple of hours at most.

Thanks to the Focus Dual’s non-surgical and non-invasive HiFU treatment, you’ll be able to have your Focus Dual HiFU session in your break and head back to the office without any visible bruising, discomfort, or redness.

Focus Dual RF micro-needling is also mildly uncomfortable in that it is only minimally invasive. You will experience (at most) some redness after your treatment or maybe a tingling feeling due to the tightening effect of RF micro-needling.

Focus Dual’s HiFU and RF micro-needling are both so comfortable and routine that you can immediately resume your normal daily activities.
