Are you struggling to lose stubborn areas of fat?

Are you questioning- how to lose stomach fat? How to get rid of back fat? Can you remove love handles? Or how to get rid of bingo wings without arm lift surgery?

If so, Aqualyx, body fat dissolving injections may be the solution for you!

Aqualyx treatment is a fat dissolving injection which works by liquidating fat cells, and destroying them permanently. The broken down cells are then eliminated naturally through the lymphatic system. This treatment is performed by one of our Aqualyx® experts.

Aqualyx fat dissolving infections are an excellent treatment for those looking to treat areas on the body with stubborn, localised fat. Please note that Aqualyx® fat dissolving injection is a body contouring treatment, not a weight loss solution. Aqualyx® treatments are only applicable for small, localised areas, and patients should be already be within 1 stone of their ideal weight.

    Frequently Asked Questions
    • Who can and can’t have Aqualyx treatment?

As long as you are generally healthy and don’t have any skin diseases or infections in the treated area there are few medical reasons why you should not undergo Aqualyx fat dissolving injections treatment.

However, Aqualyx® is not recommended for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. It is also not recommended for people who have been diagnosed with lipodystrophy or are immunocompromised for any reason including type 1 diabetes.

    • How long will my results last?

The results of an Aqualyx® fat dissolving injections treatment are permanent as long as you maintain a constant weight measurement i.e. you eat healthily, exercise regularly, and do not gain weight.

    • Are there any side effects?

Because Aqualyx® is a non-surgical treatment (no incisions or stitches required), there are no general anaesthetic risks and scarring is very unlikely. People treated with Aqualyx® will typically experience minimal side effects when compared to more invasive procedures, such as liposuction. There is likely to be swelling, bruising and tenderness which lasts 7 days after treatment.
The manufacturers report that, to date, no major side effects of Aqualyx® use have been reported to them.

    • Why not just exercise more, or go on a diet?

The ideal candidate for Aqualyx® treatment already lives a healthy lifestyle, exercising regularly and eating a well-balanced diet, but has one troublesome pocket of fat that simply will not disappear. The cause for this lies within our genetics – the double chin is a good example of fat that is often present even on very slim individuals. Other particularly stubborn pockets of fat that can be harder to resolve with exercise alone include love handles, stomach fat, bingo wings (fat under the arms), knee fat pads (fat knees), and back fat (bra fat).
All of these areas can be treated with Aqualyx.

    • Kybella uk versus Aqualyx

The rival fat dissolving injection to Aqualyx is called Kybella.
Kybella UK has just been approved for use in the UK and is considerably more expensive than aqualyx (over double the price, with results comparable).

    After Care
    • What will i need to do after my Aqualyx® fat dissolving treatment?

Do not apply any cosmetics to the treated area within a 12-hour period.
Avoid all direct sources of heat and radiation e.g. sunlight, UV radiation, saunas.
You should also refrain from particularly demanding physical exercise for 7 days.
As the released fatty acids are converted into additional energy, it is especially important that you keep a healthy diet, otherwise your body will simply store the fat in an alternative fat depot.

    • You will be advised of any additional instructions prior OR after your treatment with us
